So, I’ve been contemplating this one for a long time. I started blogging a few months ago, sort of. I didn’t really start to create regular posts until recently. Ever since my first post I’ve wondered and worried that I might have or will write something that pi**'s someone off. I like writing because it’s a way to express myself, but I wouldn’t be truly expressing myself if I didn’t write the good and the bad down. Some people are super negative and like to crap on super positive people. On the other hand, others can’t stand to hear the cons to anything. Let’s face it people, there are upsides and downsides to EVERYTHING. If you read a blog of mine and get irritated, then please don’t let the “x” button, on the top right, hit you in the a** on the way out. J (like that could happen lol)
Most of you are probably thinking how could stroller’s and quiche’s p*ss someone off? Well, ladies and gent’s, this chica is just warming up. I’m a woman of all thoughts. I spend my day with a one year old and am very deprived of adult conversation; therefore, you get to be my bitching post when I want you to be.
I do want to explain myself a little more. I’ve talked with other friends and bloggers who are afraid to post on Face Book and other similar sites. We want our thoughts to get out there and reach certain people, but we also don’t want to offend family, friends or anyone else we might be expressing ourselves about. It’s not even exactly negative, but it stinks when you have to think about what you are writing because of what a few people might think. I’ve decided to write this in hopes that those people will understand that my blogs are not to pi** people off in any way. If I have a bad day and bit** about my neighbor’s dog crapping in my yard then I shouldn’t have to worry about them burning my house down.
Ok, this is rambly, so I’m going to end it and ask for thoughts and opinions on this matter. Please reply with comments for myself and for those that might feel they are leaving the good stuff out of their blogs, or not blogging at all, for fear of offending.
I think you should continue to express yourself just as you have been, whether its about quiche or strollers or family or whatever is on your busy little mind at the moment (LOL). It is supposed to be personal, or what's the point, really? If people didn't want a personal spin on a topic, they would just read a magazine or a website. And sometimes when I read something that 'offended' me, its really just that it made me think...
